Charlie Chung - Vocals & Guitars
Born in Edinburgh in 1966 and grew up in beautiful, sunny Fife. Denied himself a career in drama despite having a huge potential to advertise Chinese ready meals and, instead, became an occupational therapist, graduating from Queen Margaret College in 1990. It was during these college years that Charlie and Kevin were both members of The Clyde Valley Surfers, a rock and roll band enshrouded in myth and mystery. From 1996, lived in the USA and kept his hand in music by regularly performing at the Stonewall Theatre in Clifton Forge, Virginia, as part of a group supporting the development of this historic building. Also brought the virtues of The Who, Queen and Led Zeppelin to the older residents of the rehabilitation facilities he worked in. Returning to Scotland in 2000, started work in Victoria Hospital stroke unit and became part of 13Hundred; a group of musicians and singers from the hospital, performing to raise funds for various causes and charities. Charlie is often asked if he is related to Andy Chung, a full time singer/songwriter based in Edinburgh. Andy is Charlie's brother and his details can be found on the website: http://www.andychung.co.uk Charlie lives in Dunfermline with his wife, Jacqueline and their children; Michael and Natalie
